The Clinic Director is the most important role in a clinic. Clinic directors are in charge of their team’s success as well as their client’s satisfaction.
A clinic director should know and be able to perform all the duties for each position in the clinic. These team members typically are Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, or EMT/Paramedics.
IV Tech is the right-hand man (or woman!) of the clinic director. The main responsibility of this role is giving intramuscular injections and starting IVs.
It is important to have very strong IV start skills to hold this IV technician job, as well as a good bedside manner as you interact with most clients. This position is often held by EMT/ Paramedics or Nurses as IV certification is required.
CSA or Client Service Associate is the support for the medical staff. Answering phone calls, booking appointments, taking vital signs, and keeping clients comfortable while receiving their IVs.
This position is often held by a CNA or an individual with great interpersonal and organizational skills.
